Crowd-Funded Telescopes will Hunt for Asteroids that Pose a Threat to Earth

The PHASTT Network has announced plans to build the world’s first crowd-funded astronomical observatories in 2014. A team of experienced astronomers in Spain, Peru, Norway and Canada will develop and operate the observatories.
